Hi Susan,
Here is a link to Tarek's web site http://www.hydeandclay.com
You can also find him at Glebe Markets most Saturdays. I have been contemplating coming up your way to do a workshop too. Are you on my mailing list? If you go to www.mariantheloucataris.com click the contact button and send me an email I can put you on the list. Thanks Manthy

Hi, I live in Umina Central Coast, I am wondering do you know of any Egyptian Drum workshops or classes up this way? I currently play djembe and also have a tabla would love to improve on this. I can't seem to find contact for Tarek.

The Saturday Sydney class is for all levels. You are welcome if you have never drummed before or if you are experienced. The rhythms all work well with a simple rhythm keeping the beat and more complex rhythms layered into it. All my classes focus on learning how to play in a group and how to communicate through the use of a beautiful and complex rhythmic language.

You can work at your own pace and learn as quickly or as slowly as you feel.
